We would like to thank everyone who attended the Burlington Safety Laboratory Safety Day event we hosted at our Burlington, NJ facility on June 4th, 2024. Attendance at the event was even higher than expected and made for a great day. Special thanks goes out to our event sponsors, Martini & Associates and PIP (Protective Industrial Products).
The day kicked off with an informal meet-and-greet, allowing us to finally match faces with many familiar names we’ve worked with over the years.
Kerry Schimelfenig from PIP delivered an engaging and informative presentation including the chance for attendees to interact hands-on with PIP’s latest products, including:
- NEW – 40 cal arc flash suit
- NEW – Line Hose
- NEW – Cut Resistant Safety Gloves
- Flame Resistant High Density Clothing
- Rubber Safety Goods including blankets and gloves
We also want to express our gratitude to Blue Monkey Catering for providing the delicious food that was enjoyed by all attendees.
The last event of the day was a facility tour providing an in-depth look at how your PPE is tested and inspected. For many of our customers this was the first time they experienced our safety testing processes first-hand and they were impressed by the level of detail and care that goes into every test we perform. In addition to testing safety gloves, sleeves, and hot sticks, the transformation of used grounding cables after refurbishment was particularly eye-opening.
